The Environmental Protection Agency's recently promulgated standard for Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) imposes new emission requirements for industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers used for power generation, steam and heating.
Compliance with the new regulations will require, in many cases, upgraded particulate, acid gas, and Mercury control.
