Amerex's affiliate, SP Environmental (SPE), provides the additional information needed to the utility and large industrial boiler industry to meet the future MACT Compliance standards. SPE has a wealth of experience in air pollution applications including: coal fired boilers, incinerators, cement plants, and lime kilns.
SPE offers state of the art Mercury emission control technology for; Utility Boiler, Industrial Boiler, Governmental and Institutional Boilers, Incineration, and other emission control applications. Our technology is based on activated carbon injection upstream of dry, semi-dry, CFB scrubbers, and/or particulate control equipment. Our staff has over 25 years of experience domestically and internationally and can utilize its large data base to assist the end user to determine the appropriate reagent, injection rate and efficiency of the process selected.
SPE consists of a team of experts who draw from the latest advances available-both domestically and abroad-to engineer superior baghouses, dry/semi-dry scrubber and fluid bed scrubbing systems for particulate, acid gas and mercury control.
