Turnkey Installations and Design/Build

Amerex has the full complement of engineering disciplines plus extensive experience in both air pollution control equipment and balance of plant systems design. Amerex’s engineering partner has the experience over more than 50 years of providing design and implementation of a broad spectrum of industrial equipment across most industries. This engineering capability combined with our diverse construction company relationships enhances Amerex’s ability to provide complete design/build and turnkey installations. In today’s business climate this can reduce our customer’s staffing, the need for outside engineering assistance, reduce total installed cost and improve contract implementation schedule.

An example of Amerex’s design/build capability is demonstrated in the project to the left. The Owner selected Amerex to evaluate various options regarding fuel alternatives and the cost associated with each. The result was an award to Amerex for the addition of a spray dryer absorber and additional baghouse module to increase fuel flexibility. Amerex provided complete balance of plant design including the addition of second ash silo, new compressor and MCC building, interfacing with existing plant systems, fan replacement, building permits, foundations, complete low voltage design and installation and mechanical and structural installation.
